ADMIN SUPPORT
The Person: This position requires a very careful adherence to well-defined work where repeatable results are needed. The work is highly precise in nature and requires a very strong attention to detail. There is little ambiguity in this job. It is very clear what needs to be done, and what the expected results are. The established procedures and processes must be followed very closely; there is little room or necessity to modify them. When work duties do change, there is ample foresight and time to prepare. The work is helpful in nature, providing support and service to others in an environment free from competition. Interacting with members requires a professional, formal manner where the focus is on completing the task pleasantly and correctly.
The Position: Reporting to the Manager of Member Experience, the Admin Support:
- Provides administrative support for the Investment and Member Experience Partner departments which may include data input, preparation of correspondence, preparation and distribution of member communication packages, coordination of member seminars, and tracking service and performance metrics of the department.
- Ensures all documentation is prepared and/or executed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and relevant legislation by keeping apprised of changing rules and regulations.
- Scans in Certified Financial Planner, Investment, and Member Experience Partner documents into the OnBase platform ensuring completeness and accuracy while correcting any deficiencies in the file conversion process.
- Primary backup for Receptionist when required.
- Promotes Unity Credit Union and maintains active involvement in the organization and community.
Qualifications: Completion of Grade 12 and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

MEMBER EXPERIENCE SUPPORT
The Person: The responsibility of this position is managing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence. The position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time. The person in this position will take work seriously, has a strong sense of duty, and is disciplined. The person in this position will require clearly defined work, responsibilities, and reporting relationships, ongoing and thorough training opportunities to develop expertise and increase confidence, and frequently expressed appreciation of the person’s competence, conscientiousness, and loyalty.
The Position: Reporting to the Manager of Member Experience, the Member Experience Support:
- Responds to member and non-member requests via all communication channels; requests may include troubleshooting online, mobile app banking or debit card access and usage, account balances, interest rates, loan payments, transfers, bill payment traces, and referrals to credit union staff.
- Delivers exceptional Member Experience - Listens to and recognizes member’s needs, communicates product and service information clearly and concisely, provides solutions to complex non-routine problems.
- Supports frontline staff by providing treasury services, assistance and relief to Member Experience Representatives.
- Maintains and balances ATM’s and cash recyclers with their related general ledger entries.
- Promotes Unity Credit Union and maintains active involvement in the organization and community.
Qualifications: Completion of Grade 12 and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be fluent in DNA and demonstrate exceptional frontline Member Experience skills. A commitment to continuous learning and development is required.
