At Unity Credit Union, we're committed to helping our members achieve financial success while strengthening the communities we serve. We are seeking an experienced Investment Advisor to join our team and help grow and manage our wealth management business through Aviso Wealth.
We are particularly interested in speaking with experienced, CIRO-registered Investment Advisors who are looking to grow their practice in a relationship-focused environment and help shape the future of wealth management at Unity Credit Union and Aviso Wealth.
Position Description: Reporting to the Manager of Member Experience, you will:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of member investment relationships.
- Maintain compliance with CIRO regulations and applicable industry standards.
- Provide advice on registered and non-registered accounts, mutual funds, managed solutions, fixed income products, and other investment offerings available through Aviso Wealth and Unity Credit Union.
- Conduct portfolio reviews and proactive investment planning discussions.
- Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships and provide tailoured financial solutions.
- Work collaboratively with staff and leadership to generate referrals and deliver coordinated member experience.
- Build new business through networking, community involvement, and relationship development.

Education & Experience: We are seeking a candidate with current CIRO registration through a CIRO-regulated dealer, or the ability to obtain registration within an agreed-upon timeframe. The ideal candidate will have experience providing investment advice, conducting portfolio reviews, and building strong client relationships. A post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Financial Planning, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Strong communication, relationship-building, and member service skills are essential.
Familiarity with Aviso Wealth platforms and processes, as well as working knowledge of DNA and Microsoft Office applications, would be considered assets.
